Noor, Olivia and Nora
Noor comes from the Arabic word for light. It’s used across different languages and communities, including in forms such as Nur and Nour.
Olivia is associated with the Latin word for olive tree. It has held second place in the Dutch girls’ list in both 2024 and 2025.
Nora has more than one history. One is as a short form of Honora, associated with honor. It ranked third in the Netherlands in both 2024 and 2025.
